Airgun Depot was looking for a way to increase their conversion rates for their higher margin items. They contacted Qgia to produce and deploy web video. Qgia created five- 1 to 3 minute product demonstration videos and deployed them on Airgun Depot's website with Qgia's patent pending IveoBox technology.


The goal was to use video along with the interactive and e-commerce features of Iveobox to show off Airgun Depot's unique products and ultimately to increase conversion rates and average ticket size. The results were immediate. Conversion rates increased 20 to 150 percent on product pages where video was deployed using the Iveobox technology. Time spent on the page also increased an average of 100 percent due to video engaging the web visitor. Another win for Airgun Depot was that their average ticket size increased about 30 percent for those products that utilized web video along with the IveoBox player.


This increase can be attributed to Iveobox's unique shopping cart integration feature. IveoBox allows customers to add the main item plus accessories featured in the video directly to their shopping cart with the click of a button. For example, Airgun Depot wanted to cross sell accessories that fit well with the product they were showcasing in the video. The majority of orders taken for the main product also included most or all of the accessories featured in the video. This directly led to an increase in overall ticket size.
